My Favorite Sites...

...To Waste My Time On.

1. Blogger, obviously. I spend way too much time on here, in case you didn't notice.
2. Facebook. It's key for creepy stalking of people you just met recently. :)
3. Pinterest. Because...it's fun to look at the funny stuffins and the cute pictures of baby polar bears.
4. My Life is Average. There are some pretty fantastic stories on there. I especially love the Narnia ones.
5. Grouchy Rabbit. Check out the 'Signs that Things Aren't Going Well.' Fantastic.
6. Dear Girls Above Me. This is a new one. Some of them are kind of bad, but I find them whimsical.
7. The Oatmeal. Check out the cat comics. I love them. So true...mostly. ;)
8. Dear Blank, Please Blank. I haven't been there in a little while. But it's still quite silly.
   
9. Taste of Awesome. Doesn't the name kind of explain it? Awesome-ness.


10. Tumblr. There's this one...it's something about sticky notes and a stay at home dad. Hmmm...

EHS-Finance Lit Style

It's almost kind of addictive. But not really.
I started it on Monday and finished it Saturday.
It went really fast and was really easy.
But other stuff...like driver's ed, and health are not as fast and easy.
But now I've done a bunch of quarter two of Health today, so it is a little easier.
It just all depends on motivation.

I wish I was just done already.

I watched Once Upon a Mattress last night with my sister.
I love that movie.

Tracy Ullman did a fantastic job as Princess Winnifred. Especially the song "Shy."

Denis O'Hare was a perfectly boneless Prince Dauntless. I laughed so much at "Man to Man Talk."

And, of course, my favorite (singing) song: "Song of Love." (F-R-E-D, FRED!)

The best scene is definitely "The Spanish Panic." Such a hilarious dance, I wish I could learn it. :D

Days like today make me feel smart.

My seminary teacher's gone for this week.

I need a job. Seriously, I need money.

Right now I am FREAKING OUT about my math test.
I hope I did okay.

2 Books at the Same Time

That's what I did on Saturday.
I was reading one book because it finished off a series that I wanted to be done with.
But...I wasn't super into it, so I was reading another book.
Because then I could read one chapter in the less exciting book
And then reward myself with a chapter in the epic sauce book.

So she was telling us where the blanks would be.
She was like, "What blank will blank his blank."
And another amazing one: "...Has a blank in his blank which you cannot blank your blank through..."

Needless to say, I found it deeply amusing and I was cracking up.

Neverisms

For Christmas I got a book called Neverisms.
Basically, it's just a bunch of things you should never do.
These are my favorites so far:

Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

Never accept a drink from a urologist.

Never fight an inanimate object

Never stab anyone with a gravy ladle.

Never steal anything so small that you'll have to go to an unpleasant city jail for it instead of a minimum security federal tennis prison.

Never have a food fight with school-dining-hall food.

Never make an obtuse observation about a triangle. It just isn't right.

Never play leapfrog with a unicorn.

Never drink and derive; alcohol and calculus don't mix.

Never hit a man with glasses; hit him with something bigger and heavier.

Never settle with words what you can accomplish with a flamethrower.

Never raise your hand to your children; it leaves your midsection unprotected.

Never jog while wearing wingtips--unless you are attending the Nerd Convention in Atlantic City.

Never look at the trombones; it only encourages them.

Never learn to do anything. If you don't learn, you will always find someone else to do it for you.

I don't want to go back...
