He's 18 now. Kinda crazy. Life moves so fast. (Look at that little baby face).

The Un-Birthday Birthday

Yesterday was my birthday.
But it didn't really feel like it.
I mean...I had an auditorium of people sing to me at about 12:20 am, and quite a few other people wish me happy birthday early in the morning (including a semi-coherent Russ Mayo).
But...then I went to sleep, so it felt like a new day.
On that new day (still my birthday), I did get Facebook texts periodically throughout the day of people wishing me happy birthday. But it still didn't really feel like a birthday.
I ran errands for my mom, and really didn't do much else.
My family got food for a birthday/graduation dinner on Wednesday.
My birthday party's not till Monday.
And sure, I got some gifts (food from young women's leaders mostly),
But...it was more like a boring normal day than anything else.

I'm 18 now, though. So I guess that's good. :)

Kirsten Marquis is one of the coolest people I know. She's hilarious, gorgeous, an amazing editor, smart, nice, Golf-y, so very friendly, and beloved by all.

Anyone who is not aware of her existence has missed out on some of the greatest things in life.

My wonderful, dear friend Heather Armstrong turns 18 on Sunday.
Her party was this evening, and let me say: it was awesome.
We played games, ate cake, and she opened presents.
One of her presents was a pack of awkward promotional pens.
They were pretty great.
Also, I gave her a bag of Walmart: colored bubbles, candy, and an epic one of these:

And we played What If, which is always loads of fun.

Here are a couple of the best "what ifs"

What if Nathan and Jordan both found true love?
Then we'd all be doomed.

What if Austin were somehow more awesome?
It can't be, Jon's not dead.

What if Jon were president of the world?
That would be inappropriate, no one wants to see that.

Mmm...then I would want a bite because that's tasty.

Well then, I'd have to shoot myself. I can't be exposed to that much concentrated evil.

One of My Most Favoritest People...

This is Beth. Basically, she one of the most awesome people in the entire world. She's smart, funny, and she plays the flute like a pro. She goes to Timpanogos High School, so I don't get to see her a lot, but she's still FLIPPIN' EPIC. She liked to make delicious food like cake balls, potatoes, and bacon-based deliciousness. She knows all sorts of crazy random plays and musicals. She's one of my best friends.

He's done some stupid stuff, like all siblings, but we still have a great time hanging out.
He's always been pretty crazy and way awesome.
He goes to the University of Utah, and is a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity.
He's way too smart for his own good, but you can pretty much always count on him for a laugh.

Today was Fantastic

I got my first good night's sleep since school started.
I mowed the lawn without dying of dry mouth.
I read a super awesome fantastic book I've been waiting for forever.
I wore my Pikachu shirt.
I watched the Robin Sparkles episode.
I ate fajitas.
I went to an epic birthday party for my friend Kilee Endicott.
I was recognized as the creator of M. Fredwin Freckle.
I watched a crazy movie called Rocketman.
It had some crazy awesome quotes. :D
And I basically had an epic sauce time.

Today is the day that my best friend, Beth Foley turns 16.

It's quite exciting.

She really is an amazing person.

Happy July Everyone...

So it's officially July.
Yay! (Kind of)
This shall be an exciting month.
Some exciting things that are happening this month:

Firstly, my very awesomest friend
Beth Foley is turning 16 on the 17th.


Secondly, my awesomely awesome guy friend,
Jon LeBaron is also turning 16...on the 17th


And my crazy awesome friend
whom I've known since we were both basically babies,
Rachel Davis is also turning 16...on the 17th!


Yeah, that's right, I know three (actually four, but three good friends)
people, all the same age, turning 16 on the same day. Huzzah! :D

And on the 21st, an awesome seqel comes out. Uncommon Criminals!
The sequel to Heist Society, by Ally Carter. Yay! :)

Also happening in July, things that have to happen, but I kind of wish didn't:

The 4th Celebration-where many of my insane relatives will
come to my house and be loud and somewhat annoying.
Fortunately my grandfather brings delicious homemade rootbeer.

Girls Camp-July 28-30

And it'll keep getting hotter and hotter. :C

And other things...which I'm sure I'm forgetting.

Should be an interesting month...

I Almost Forgot!

Today was Mr. Freckle's birthday.
It was pretty great.
I didn't even remember until this afternoon though.
But then my aunt wished him happy birthday on Facebook.
So...we're gonna go upstairs and party. :D

Yesterday...

Yesterday was my birthday.

I turned 16.

It was quite exciting (as it was also yearbook day).

And I wore my epic purple hat. :)

At school (in our rather sparse assembly) with the peeps.

I got a text from Heather in the afternoon to go to her house.

Where I was surprised with a party.

And a cup of happy birthday hot chocolate. :)

And the candle kind of got tipped in the cup.

So...I didn't really drink it.

But it's the thought that counts. :D

I chilled with Beth(!), Taryn, and Franklin.

Will was there too. :)

Jake kind of killed his popsicle.

(His tongue got stuck to it)

And I got to pet Heather's cat (Mortimer)

We looked at yearbooks

And enjoyed Jon's hilarious presence

And then we went to go get scones

Yum. Scones. :)

After our scones trip, we went to jake's house.

And we met his dogs/puppies. :D

The puppies were dang cute.

There were three.

Huzzah for puppies!

And after visiting the puppies for quite a while,

We went back to Heather's.

Everyone was pretty sleepy.

Especially Heather.

So then we left.

It was a good night. :)
