Math, Yearbook, and Other Things I Did Yesterday

Yesterday was amazing!

After school, I went to a math competition. I love math. We had a 100 question test and 30 minutes to do as much as I can. It was so much fun!! :D PGHS had only 6 people there, and we took 3rd place out of 6 schools! Yay PG! I had the best score at PG (so I got a 2-liter bottle of Sunkist), and also the second highest score of the competition. I got 35 right out of the 45 I answered. That's 78%. The kid who had the highest score got 52 right! That's crazy! It made me feel special that I was second though. Also, Zac Brown won an iPod in the raffle, and I got an 8 GB flashdrive. It was so awesome!!

At about 6:20, I went to a yearbook party. It was fantastic! There were delicious nachos and chips & salsa from Los Hermanos. Oh my gosh, so good! It was a really funny and fun time. Some people were slightly injured (but not seriously, and just briefly), and I won the snort game (that was interesting), and I got dizzy on the swings. It was a really good night!

Unfortunately...I had to go home and let my sister inside the house at about 8:30. And then I had to do my Biology homework (memorizing leaves). I did watch the season premiere of Big Bang Theory, and the Series premiere of Elementary. That show is sooo cool! :D Sherlock Holmes is such a great, crazy character. It's wonderful, really.

The only really bad part about the night was the lack of sleep. I didn't actually end up going to bed until about 1:30, so I'm kind of tired. I've been doing bad this week with going to sleep anywhere before midnight. Thank goodness it's the weekend. I can finally sleep! :D

Freaking Out Now

Oh, My Gosh!

I am soooooo happy right now!! :D
I just got back from the best musical ever!
Les Miserables!

It was soooooo great. The actors' voices were strong, and the flow was fantastic.
Although...when Pleasant Grove performed it, Javert's suicide was more dramatic.
But it was still incredible and so much fun to watch!
This was my fifth time seeing the play, which was wonderful.
One of my favorite things was the live guitar during Drink With Me.
So cool.

It's been a fantastic night!

Until then...I have like...4 history reviews, and 5 Math reviews (Plus a practice test marathon, which I'm SO EXCITED FOR).
So...Wish me luck.
I think I'll do pretty good.
(Especially considering the fact that I only got 3 multiple choice problems wrong on the practice AP math test we just took).

Worry-some Life

I need a job. Seriously, I need money.

Right now I am FREAKING OUT about my math test.
I hope I did okay.
Seriously...it was difficult.

Also, I need to hang out with my friends.
I miss them.

School is stressful.
I'm always worrying about my grades.
Because I really want straight A's.

I wish my problems would just be solved already.

Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows

Holy crap.
That was intense.

The best parts:

• Drunk Watson
• When Sherlock pushed Mary off the train
• Sherlock's Shetland Pony he rides
• The picture in Moriarty's red book (Be careful what you fish for)
• And, of course, the ending.

So intense.

Of course there were also many wonderful lines, such as:

"I forgot the rest...Oh, there it is..." -Sherlock

"One million pounds! Oh, and fire." -Sherlock

"Your hedge needs trimming." -Watson

(Creepily) "Don't you have a goat to be worming?" -Sherlock

"Oh, embrace me! Watson's getting married." -Sherlock

Holmes: Care for a drop?

Watson: He got up like a monkey from pot. I may need some of that in a few hours.
Sherlock: Consider it a wedding gift.

The Mystery of Edwin Drood

OH MY GOSH!!
That was amazing. :)
I love this play, and I love Timp!

It's kind of creepy, especially at the beginning, but it is awesome!
The narrator-type guy was played by none other than Marshall Madsen.
It was hilarious. :) He had the best accent.

It's kind of awesome, because you get to interact.
You get to choose the end of the play as an audience.
But I went on closing night, so I got to see all the confession songs.
Huzzah!
Also, the pit got to dress up too. :)

Anyway, it was an incredible play and Timp-ites in drama don't get the credit they deserve.
PG might do popular intense plays, but Timp does plays that aren0't as well known.
And rock them. :D

At my band concert today.
